Peugeot 208 GTI 30th anniversary officially launched

The French car maker has officially revealed Peugeot 208 GTI 30th anniversary at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in celebration of the first 205 GTI that was introduced 30 years ago.

Peugeot 208 GTI 30th anniversary packs an upgraded 1.6-litre turbo four engine capable of delivering 208 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen differential borrowed from RCZ-R. This model does the 0-62 mph sprint in 6.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of over 140 mph.
