Merceds fans are in for a big surprise as good news regarding one of the companies cars is about to come. Recently one of the most awaited for cars has been spied testing. We refer to the all-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class that has been caught on public roads in Germany.
As far as power goes the new E-Class is likely to receive straight-six gasoline engines and a powerful 2.9-liter turbodiesel that will be offered with 313 HP (230 kW) or 400 HP (294 kW). The range-topping E63 AMG is expected to get the twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine used on the C63 AMG and AMG GT.

Current development plans from Mercedes include in increase in size for both the C-Class and the E-Class. The all-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is scheduled to be unveiled in 2016 and until then for the moment we have two new videos to bring important clues on what the future car will look like.
The car shown in the videos is fully camouflaged. Yet it is easy to see that the prototype of the E-Class W213 will ride on the same MRA platform as the C-Class.
Another thing that is easily noticeable is the fact that the new car is styled in a manner that much resembles its C and S siblings. Most lilely the new Mercedes will be launched as standard sedan and will be followed by an estate, long wheelbase sedan.
