Australia: 2018 Kia Stinger – Full Prices Announced

Following the official release of the 2018 Kia Stinger some time ago, the South Korean based carmaker has also announced the availability of the model lineup in the Land Down Under.

Three trim grades comprise the car`s lineup in Australia, each one coming with its own variants – 200S ($45,990), 200Si ($52,990), 200 GT-Line ($55,990), 330S ($48,990), 330Si ($55,990), and the top of the line GT-Line available at $59,990.

At the exterior, the all-new 2018 Kia Stinger is offered with no less than seven colours – Panthera Metal, Sunset Yellow, Silky Silver, Hichroma Red, Ceramic Grey, Micro Blue and Deep Chroma Blue (available in the entry- and mid-entry levels). Both the GT and GT-Line high-end variants are available in Aurora Black and Snow White Pearl.

In terms of safety gizmos, all variants are equipped with the latest systems, also seen on the carmaker`s other new models. It is all about the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, comprising Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Pedestrian Detection, Lane Keep Assistance, Rear-Cross Traffic Alers and Surround-View Camera.

VIsually, the 2018 Kia Stinger is extremely massive, measuring 4,830 mm long and 1,870 mm wide; the wheelbase also stands at 2,905 mm. The four-door sedan is offered as well with a 506-liter boot, which is just enough to accomodate two massive travel bags.

Besides the much more evolved design language and new colour pallete, the 2018 Stinger is also offered with 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 225/45 Continental ContiSport Contact 5 tires, available in the 200Si and 300S. THe GT-Line and GT also come with 19-inch alloys, fitted with 225/40 and 225/35 front and rear tires.

In the engine department, the all-new 2018 Kia Stinger, in the 330S, 330Si and GT, comes with a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, developing 272 kW and 510 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the S, Si and GT comes with a 2.0-liter twin-turbo flat-four, with 128 kW and 353 Nm of torque.

Inside, the cabin features high-tech gizmos, like 7.0-inch touchscreen with six-speaker stereo in the entry- and mid-entry level variants. The top of the line GT and GT-Line come with 8.0-inch touchscreen with nine-speaker stereo.
