According to Holden representatives, engineers have tried to focus on “delivering the direct steering and composed ride that Australians look for when driving,” drivers thus getting the chance of driving an exceptional SUV with “powerful engine, precisely calibrated nine-speed transmission and dynamic steering and suspension performance.”

Speaking of powerful engine, the 2019 Holden Acadia is launched with a 3.6-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine, available on all three versions (LT, LTZ and top of the line LTZ-V), meaning a power output of 231 kW and 367 Nm of torque.

The engine is paired to the aforementioned nine-speed transmission, along with front- and all-wheel drive systems. This allows a fuel economy of 8.9l/100 km in the front-wheel drive variant and 9.3l/100 km in the all-wheel drive variant.

The SUV`s driving dynamics and direct steering are improved thanks to the new MacPherson front and five-link rear setup, ensuring more comfort and pleasure while driving the car on all road conditions. Add of course the plethora of safety features – autonomous emergency braking, forward collision alert and head-up warning, rear parking assist, lane-keep assist, auto high-beams and lateral impact avoidance, all coming as standard.

Inside, the cabin comes with great highlights, such as 8.0-inch touch-screen media system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adding as well plenty of storage compartments all-around, or 2.1-amp fast-charge USB ports.
